Please review the below information on our cancellation, refunds and vacation travel insurance. Travel insurance can be purchased through our site at https://pyramidpeakprop.rentalguardian.com/ or another vendor.

60 DAY RULE: If you cancel before 60 days prior to occupancy, you will receive a 100% refund less a $140 administrative fee from Pyramid Peak Properties. This does not include any additional fees you may pay to third booking parties. You should purchase travel insurance to protect your investment. Once travel insurance is purchased, you will file a claim and the 60 day rule does not apply.

There are no refunds for poor snow conditions, severe weather, poor air quality, late arrivals, early departures, travel conditions, road closures, allergies, health or medical issues, utility or water outages, construction at neighboring properties, war, terrorism or acts of God (i.e. pandemics).

We strongly urge you to obtain the optional Trip Cancellation & Travel Insurance, which will protect your vacation investment if you must cancel for many unforeseen reasons such as doctor reported illness, poor traveling weather, injuries or accidents, or involuntary termination of employment. Additional benefits include medical assistance while on vacation, reimbursement for lost or delayed baggage, and identity theft resolution.

• Protects up to 100% of traveler\’s expenses for all covered trip cancellation or interruption reasons like an illness or injury to someone in your traveling party, death in the family, hurricanes, mandatory evacuations and many more benefits.
• Cost: 7.0% x trip cost
• Can be purchased at time of booking or up to 30 days prior to the start date
• If booking within 30 days of start date, can only be purchased at time of booking

2 – CFAR (Cancel for any Reason) Travel Protection – see details below

Play Travel Protection CANCEL FOR ANY REASON:
• Protects up to 100% of traveler\’s expenses for all covered trip cancellation or interruption reasons like an illness or injury to someone in your traveling party, death in the family, hurricanes, mandatory evacuations and many more benefits (or) up to 60% of traveler\’s expenses for trip cancellation reasons not listed in the policy.
• Cost: 10.8% x trip cost
• Only available to US residents (Not available to residents of NY, NH, WA, Puerto Rico)
• Must be purchased at time of booking or within 14 days of booking if more than 30 days from trip start date
• Cannot be purchased within 30 days of trip start date
• Must cancel reservation at least 2 days prior to the start date if filing a claim
